Dr Alison Wright, FRCOG, is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, working privately at the Portland hospital, where she is the lead Consultant for Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Vice Chair of the MAC (medical advisory committee). She works in the NHS, at the Royal Free London hospital in Hampstead. Dr Wright is the President-Elect of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and was previously National Speciality Advisor (NSA) for maternity at NHS England. She is the UK representative for FIGO (International Federation of Gynaecologists and Obstetricians) committee on childbirth and PPH. Her clinical interests include high risk pregnancies, childbirth trauma, urogynaecology, pelvic floor dysfunction and menopause. Dr Wright is committed to providing safe and personalised care to women and their families and believes passionately in involving women at every level, in their own care.
